Sacramento native Greta Gerwig's hit film Lady Bird has enchanted audiences around the globe. Join us for a tour featuring some of the iconic East Sacramento filming locations: the tree-lined streets of the famed Fab 40s neighborhood, the "blue house,"  Ronald Reagan's former East Sacramento home, McKinley Park Rose Garden, Club Raven, Pasty Shack, J Street U.S. Post Office, El Dorado Savings Bank and more. This is a fully curated tour experience that includes information about the locations, filming, Greta Gerwig's inspiration, Sacramento history and more.

Distance and duration: (all times are approximate and depend on group size and pace)

  • Running Tour: 3.2 miles (with stops at seven key filming locations and rest breaks as needed); approximately 1 hour

  • Walking Tour: 3.2 miles (with stops at seven key filming locations and rest breaks as needed); approximately 2 hours

Difficulty: Easy, with minimal elevation gain/loss. Caution required for sections of this route that are along busy city streets and crosswalks. Tour routes are wheelchair and stroller accessible.
